Y.E.S. (Youth Enquiry Service)

The Youth Enquiry Service is here to provide guidance, information and support to young people in the High Wycombe District aged between 13 and 25.

Young Carers Bucks

Young Carers Bucks works with and supports children and young people aged 6 to18 years who care for a family member because of a:

  • physical or mental illness
  • disability
  • drug or alcohol addiction

Check Out

A free confidential sexual health drop-in service for young people under 25 years.  Free condom distribution with impartial information on all sexual health concerns.

H.I.T. (Housing Interaction Trust)

Provide a range of housing advice and support to young people aged 16 – 25 years.  We seek to provide safe and affordable accommodation with ongoing support.
We run several projects;
The Muse & New Roots Projects allow young people medium support to successful independent living.
The Leaving Care Project provides lodgings in secure caring homes.
Supported Lodgings provide lodging with families, couples or single people.

Connexions

Is a free information, confidential advice and guidance service for all young people aged 13-19 and up to 25 years for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
Connexions can provide support to young people on a wide range of topics including:

  • careers & work
  • education, training & ‘Apprenticeships’
  • money
  • help with decisions about lifestyle
  • free-time & volunteering
  • legal matters & the law

Frank

TALK TO FRANK provides a friendly, confidential and non-judgemental service to anyone wanting help, information or advice about drugs.

Young Addaction

Addaction is one of the UK’s largest specialist drug and alcohol treatment charities. They believe that effective treatment needs to be tailored to the individual. Each person needs committed and caring support as they move forward step by step. Supporting people to recover is central to the work.

Chesham Youth Club

We offer a range of personal development opportunities to young people aged 13 to 19 years.

You can:
• Learn new ways of using your leisure time
• Acquire new skills
• Build confidence and self-esteem
• Take a responsible role in the community

There are a number of partnership agreements and working arrangements in place that greatly improve the opportunities available to young people, by working together

OASIS

OASIS are a charity (formerly know as ACT) offering a range of support services to anyone whose life is affected by their own, or someone else's drug or alcohol use with bases in Aylesbury and High Wycombe

They believe that effective treatment needs to be tailored to the individual. Each person needs committed and caring support as they move forward step by step. Supporting people to recover is central to the work.

Education & Youth Services is a recognised brand leader in delivering innovative training, education and development. A private sector company with over 250 staff, 26 learning centre's and a decade of experience in delivering training nationally across a variety of subject areas. We are sensitive to delivering tailored and flexible programmes that meet both the needs of learners and businesses alike. One of their centres is in High Wycombe

C.A.M.H.S.

C.A.M.H.S. aim to support and engage children, young people and their families, with complex needs by means of individualised home and community treatment. The age group for this service is between 11 and 18 years old.
